Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails can be found in the surrounding area. In Chironico there is the famous climbing center "Chironico boulder". The train station, the post office and the restaurants are in Lavorgo and the shops and the hospital are in the village of Faido. In summer, the property can be reached on foot in about 45 minutes from the center of Grumo via a challenging climb. The A2 motorway is 7 km from the parking area. The Postauto (post bus) takes you from Grumo to the Gotthardbahn (fast train) stop in Faido. Bellinzona Nord is 30 minutes away by car. The cities of Lugano and Locarno with their lakes are 50 minutes away.
