In La Flotte, a former 18th-century peasant hamlet with several dwellings around a tree-lined courtyard enclosed by walls. The property is developed in depth, following an organization inherited from an old agricultural complex. The various buildings, all single-story, surround a central garden. Part of the plot preserves protected spaces, while some openings reveal views between the volumes. The layout allows both privacy and a sense of openness. The ensemble includes a house and several old structures: a wine cellar, a granary, a barn, and a sheepfold, which have undergone successive alterations. The arrangement distinguishes three autonomous living units. The façades, either exposed stone or plastered, are covered with canal tiles. The exterior joinery, mostly painted blue, rhythm the elevations. The floors are mostly made of old tiles, present in most rooms, interspersed with some spaces in tommettes (terracotta tiles).
