30 minutes from Mulhouse and Belfort, in a village in the Sundgau, an 18th-century Alsatian traditional farm, renovated into housing. Located along one of the village streets, the property is bounded to the east by a low wall, to the north by a neighboring house, to the west by a private forest, and to the south by a stream, a tributary of the Largue. An opening built into the wall provides access to the central courtyard which distributes the entrance to the half-timbered Alsatian traditional house, and at the back of the courtyard, the old barn. Three blocks of garages are distributed to the south and north of the property. The main dwelling rises to three levels, the top level being under attics converted. It has been divided into five independent dwellings, currently rented. The main façade, to the south, is arranged in four bays. The two-leaf wooden windows are equipped with double glazing. The house is topped with a two-slope roof and two hips at the ends of the ridge. The Alsatian traditional tiles, known as Biberschwanz, are beaver-tail shaped. Four dormer windows allow natural light into the attic space. The old barn includes ten dwellings, all also rented. It rises to four levels, including two attic levels. The roof is a two-slope one, covered with mechanical tiles, and pierced by dormers and roof windows.
