In one of Burgundy's most beautiful medieval villages. This building is exceptionally central due to its location and has been central to the life and economy of the village since its construction in the 16th century. Initially, it was likely a shop run by a wealthy merchant, then used as a café-tobacco shop, inn, and restaurant for at least a century, as evidenced by the postcard pictured here. The half-timbered building, raised above three vaulted cellars, comprises on the ground floor a bar, a restaurant dining room, a fully equipped professional kitchen, a restroom with disabled access, and another for the owners. Upstairs, there is a largely renovated apartment consisting of a living room with a kitchenette, three bedrooms (or other uses), and two bathrooms, one with a toilet, plus a separate toilet. Above, there are two levels to be fully renovated (or not), offering magnificent exposed timber framing. The last operation, dating back approximately 5 years, does not provide any reliable business information. Some photos were taken when the restaurant closed, hence the presence of interior and exterior furniture that is no longer there. The furniture visible in some photos has been removed from the building and is therefore not included in the sale. For more information, please contact me!
