In Entre-Deux-Mers, 35 minutes from Bordeaux, a priory erected in the 17th and 18th centuries, with a swimming pool and a large wooded plot. Built in the 17th and 18th centuries, the property covers nearly 9,000 square meters. The priory sits on the upper part of the plot, overlooking an Italian-style park punctuated with rows of plants, a stone swimming basin arranged in the 19th century, and an outdoor reception area that is semi-covered. The latter, built in stone and tiled with canal tiles, houses a fireplace. In keeping with late 17th-century tradition, the main building develops an L-shaped plan and is distinguished by the sobriety of its architecture. The ashlar and lime-plastered stone façades have retained a homogeneous patina. The large down-arched or full-arch openings, characteristic of 18th-century alterations, pace the elevations and contribute to the balance of proportions. Delicate stone bands horizontally underscore the façades, while the tall openings on the southern façade provide bright interior luminosity. Access to the main entrance is from the south, through a wide gravel courtyard animated by a centenary linden tree. The entrance door, protected by a pierced green-painted shutter, blends discreetly into the façade composition. A second entrance, located on the west, leads directly to a kitchen, the centerpiece of the house. From the house, several perspectives open onto the park and the various spaces.
