In green Beaujolais, in a village near Lake des Sapins, a 190 m² master house from the early 20th century. On a 3,440 m² plot. Not far from the church but facing outward from the village, the sloping land overlooks the Beaujolais mountains covered with pine forests. Upon entering through the gate, the level area of the estate reveals the main façade of the house, built in the early 20th century, with a non-adjacent carport surrounding a gravel courtyard. Constructed on a traditional square plan, the main dwelling follows the codes of a country bourgeois home of its era: crowned by a four-sided roof, part of which is visible in slate, with broad openings, and a distinctive architectural feature borrowed from Anglo-Norman houses: a polygonal bow-window or glassed oriel at ground level, topped by a balcony on the first floor. To the south, on the terrace side, the land extends toward the river, with far-reaching views over the surrounding countryside and a geometrically shaped swimming pool.
